19. Modification of Terms

19.1 Broadcasting Platforms reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notification. The company is not obligated to communicate such changes to Users. Users are responsible for regularly reviewing these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

20. Supported Playback Methods, Casting and AirPlay

20.1 The Platform supports playback via the User's web browser and, where available, via casting protocols including Google Cast (Chromecast) and Apple AirPlay. Availability of casting and AirPlay depends on the User's source device, the receiver device, the network configuration, and applicable content licensing restrictions.

20.2 Casting and AirPlay route media playback to a separate receiver device that is under the control of that device's manufacturer and operating system. Broadcasting Platforms does not control playback behaviour, audio/video pipelines, or DRM enforcement once the stream is handed off to the receiver, and cannot guarantee functionality identical to in-browser playback.

20.3 AirPlay playback requires a compatible Apple source device and a receiver that supports the required AirPlay version and codecs. Some protected content may be unavailable for AirPlay output, may be downscaled, or may be required to remain on the source device, in accordance with content owner requirements.

20.4 Certain receiver devices may be incompatible with the modern codecs, DRM systems, or adaptive-bitrate workloads required by the Platform. In particular: devices with less than 2 GB of RAM and/or end-of-life Cast firmware (typically pre-2020 Chromecast dongles and smart TVs with built-in Cast receivers) are not supported, as insufficient memory and outdated decoders cause rebuffering, frame drops, and playback stalls under modern streaming workloads. Broadcasting Platforms is not obliged to provide technical support or refunds for playback issues attributable to such devices.

20.5 Casting and AirPlay output to an external display require an end-to-end HDCP-compliant signal path. This includes the HDMI cable, any intermediate equipment (such as AV receivers, soundbars, HDMI switches, or splitters), and the receiving television's HDMI input, all of which must support at least HDCP 2.2 for high-definition and 4K protected content. Where the signal chain fails to complete a successful HDCP handshake, protected streams may play audio with a blank or black video output, fail to start, or be downgraded in resolution. Maintaining an HDCP-compliant chain is the User's responsibility, and Broadcasting Platforms is not liable for playback issues caused by non-compliant cables, intermediate equipment, or television HDMI inputs.

21. Digital Rights Management (DRM)

21.1 Content delivered through the Platform is protected by industry-standard Digital Rights Management ("DRM") technologies, including but not limited to Google Widevine, Apple FairPlay Streaming, and Microsoft PlayReady. DRM is used to enforce the licensing terms imposed by content owners and rights holders.

21.2 To access protected content, the User must use a device, operating system, and browser that supports the applicable DRM system at the required security level. The Platform may refuse playback, downgrade video quality, or restrict output (including casting and external display output) on devices that do not meet the required DRM, HDCP, or output protection requirements.

21.3 The User must not attempt to bypass, remove, reverse-engineer, or otherwise circumvent any DRM, encryption, watermarking, or other content protection measures applied to the Platform or its content. Any such attempt constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

21.4 DRM components rely on third-party software provided by browser vendors, operating system vendors, and device manufacturers. Broadcasting Platforms cannot guarantee continued playback if those third parties revoke, deprecate, or modify the underlying DRM components, and is not liable for playback loss caused by such third-party changes.
